Scarcity won the Best New Label award at Breakspoll 2011!
For the past year we have been digging everywhere in search for quality electronic music. Well, mainly breaks. But our angle was always wider than that trying to fit into each release and each package just about anything that is quality and sounds fresh and good enough make your senses tingle and your hair ruffle.
So, like we said, we are mainly a breaks/breakbeat label and I think that for the last year we have done our job pretty well.
Wearing the crown as Best New Label means the world to us and it motivates us to push things forward in our quest for finding fresh new talented artists and their quality sounding music.
It is indeed a great honor for us but we know we couldn't have done it without help.
So we want to say "Thank you" to all our artists who made this possible thru their hard work, dedication to good music and patience with us. Also "Thank you" to everybody that voted for us and to everybody that supported Scarcity in the last year.
And while label boss Mesmer certainly has a soft spot for nurturing talent in his own country, his vision stretches well beyond that, to just about all over the world.
We must be on the right track. And if you stick with us, then so are you :)
